Description
Piegaro is a quiet and relaxing village located on the top of a green Umbrian hillside where you can feel the ancient air of history and it has always been and today still is one of the most important centers of the glass industry not only in Umbria.
Passing Porta Romana you will find Palazzo Pallavicini, a beautiful 18th century building, that today still recalls the ancient rooms, the wine cellar, the store rooms for olive oil and grain and the dessicating room. All wisely transformed into the kitchen and wine bar of the restaurant Mondo Antico.
The Ca’ de Principi, composed of suites and rooms, provided with period furniture and ancient fixtures, offers to the interested guest the possibility to live quietly this particular and unique residence.
The cuisine of the Ca’ de’ Principi resuggests dishes with the taste, scent and fragrance of the past, carefully revisited with a wealth of details and the simple art of cooking. The kitchen garden, the fruit-orchard, the fields and the wood are the basis of every homemade dish of Pasta, accompanied by the selected dishes of meat of local farmers production.The old recipes of cakes and sweets go well with the delicate scent and taste of our local liquors.
At guests' disposal there are a swimming pool with hydromassage and a panoramic view, overflying the magic Umbrian wood and hilly landscape and a splendid hall with private Italian bar fully equipped for meetings up to 80 persons with the possibilities of adjacent rooms.

Bellissimo hotel, molto elegante immerso nella campagna umbra ma a poca distanza dai principali centri. E' tutto molto confortevole, dalle stanze al ristorante, che offre una cucina ottima e genuina. Personale molto gentile e disponibile ad ogni richiesta.
